Back in the 1980s, restaurateur Dennis Max brought cool Cali cuisine to South Florida. At one time, he had more than 20 eateries in an empire that stretched from Miami to Orlando. And he opened the first farm-to-table restaurant, Max’s Harvest, in Palm Beach County several years ago.Now Max is touting Max’s Social House Delray Beach, a new concept based on a old school idea: people actually having real, face-to-face social interactions instead of virtual relationships. Max’s SoHo does this by having an unplugged vibe and house-party feel. It’s even one of the fave raves of Nick Nistico, the master mixologist at Breakthru Beverage where we taped Rod with a Twist.
