They left on June 2, a day after they had originally planned because there was a heavy rain storm on the day they had planned to leave. Dick Severy, at age 77 and Mark Ruel made the four corners of the United States on their motorcycles.They had twenty one days to complete the challenge of riding from the first point on the four corners route in the most northeast corner of Maine in Madawaska to the last one in Blaine, Washington. The route required them to stop in Key West, Florida and San Ysidro, California on the way.
