You jump in your car, and the engine roars to life, but now where do you go? I have a suggestion: find your way to A1A.
A1A you ask? Beach Front Avenue, as Vanilla Ice called it. Yes, the very same road, but we aren’t headed to Miami, because that isn’t classic enough. We are headed to Saint Augustine, Florida, the true classic town of America, otherwise known as the Ancient City. On the verge of celebrating its 450th birthday, Saint Augustine is the oldest city in America. It was the first permanent European settlement, also known for having the first mass celebrated in the Americas, as well as the first hospital, and even the first tavern.
