When the sickly, struggling sea turtle was discovered July 25 in the Trident Basin at Port Canaveral, she was severly underweight and covered in barnacles, algae and leeches. Named Trident, the debilitated subadult loggerhead sea turtle was transported to the Brevard Zoo’s Sea Turtle Healing Center.
