Daytona International Speedway will shine in prime-time Monday, but the competition won’t be on the track. NBC’s popular athletic endurance contest, “American Ninja Warrior,” will broadcast the first of two episodes taped in April with the Speedway’s famous marquee as the backdrop. It airs at 8 p.m. on WESH-Channel 2. ″‘American Ninja Warrior’ is going to showcase both Daytona International Speedway’s motorsports stadium and the Daytona Beach community to a national television audience,” said Chip Wile, Speedway president. “I was in attendance for the filming back in April and I’ve seen the preview.
