Divers will begin their day at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center (located at 14200 US Highway 1 in Juno Beach) where turtle experts and dive instructors will share their expertise regarding turtles. Lunch will be provided to all participants. Following the presentation, divers will meet at Jupiter Dive Center (located at 1001 N. Highway A1A Alternate in Jupiter) to participate in a two-tank guided dive where divers will focus on identifying the turtles they see, locating the types of habitat turtles prefer, and noting any visible human impacts affecting the turtles. The instructor will debrief the dives adding their own insight regarding turtle behavior, explaining how divers can enjoy the experience without stressing the turtles, and addressing any questions.
