Biz Buzz: New Owners Drop Anchor at Fisherman’s Net of Flagler Beach

Jimmy Velio and Joseph Frascogna recently purchased Fisherman’s Net in Flagler Beach and have changed the name to the Anchor Flagler Beach.

“We were looking for an opportunity and saw the restaurant listed for sale and were confident that we could make some big improvements,” Velio said. “After we closed on the purchase with former owner Rab Persaud, we immediately started remodeling.”Frascogna first saw the restaurant while he was on vacation at Hammock Dunes.

This is his 35th restaurant improvement project. His goal when he takes on a project is to improve the food, atmosphere and service.
