7th Annual Surfers for Autism Event Held in Cocoa Beach

A couple hundred autistic youths were given an opportunity to improve their surfing techniques or just learn how to surf Saturday as the 7th annual Surfers for Autism event was held at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach.Surfers for Autism, according to communications director Dave Rossman, began when a handful of surfers started it about eight years ago in Deerfield Beach, but the events have quickly spread to a number of different locations annually.
