Going to Disney or Miami Beach or Universal Studios is an obvious destination, especially when the Sunshine State has a host of quality adventures. But, what about the little known beauties? Only in Your State listed the top 18 hidden gems in Florida with a handful of local hot spots popping up.

The Morikami Museum in Delray Beach was listed as one of the hidden gems with the site highlighting the “unique and serene” experience. It also applauded the offerings of “Japanese tea ceremonies, a bonsai garden, festivals, classes, and a gift shop and cafe” as some of the top-notch amenities that the museum offers.

The Blowing Rocks Preserve in Hobe Sound was also listed as one of the top attractions with the site praising “seeing the waves break on huge limestone formations” as a prime reason to visit the beach on Jupiter Island. It also mentioned seeing the educational center, plant nursery, boardwalk, and butterfly garden as high points of the trip.

Another close-by gem was the Swap Shop Flea Market and Drive-In Theater in Fort Lauderdale, which Only in Your State said was great because of its luscious amount of vendors and items, and the variety of stuff to be found at its three locations that include Lake Worth and Tampa.
