We’re ready to celebrate and commemorate the Declaration of Independence this weekend with parties, parades, picnics, food and fireworks.In addition to the festive fun, let’s remember why we celebrate our freedom — on July 4, 1776, we declared our independence from Great Britain. This reminds me of the quote, “It is easy to take liberty for granted, when you have never had it taken from you.” The author’s unknown, but sometimes it’s attributed to M.
