Whale Shark Spotted Off Ponte Vedra Beach

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commision shared a photo of a whale shark that was spotted off the St. Johns County coast. The whale shark was spotted off about 20 nautical miles off Ponte Vedra Beach during aerial surveys earlier this month. Whale sharks are the largest living fish species and can grow to 40 feet long.
