Volunteers Clean Up Trash Left Behind on the Beach

Sylvana Strawn cannot stand to see trash on the beach.”This is my home, and I like a clean beach,” she said. “I clean up most mornings on my walks.”Monday morning, she was one of about 45 people who picked up trash along the beach at Shepard Park, Lori Wilson Park and Minutemen Causeway as part of the summer series cleanups organized by FLORIDA TODAY and Keep Brevard Beautiful.
