This is the beginning of one of my favorite times of year. Performance and exhibit schedules are rolling in, along with announcements of scholarship opportunities and competitions. Local ceramic artists, with the support of the Vero Beach Museum of Art, go beyond the call of duty every fall to supply more than 1,000 handmade bowls for the November Soup Bowl that benefits The Samaritan Center.
