Thumbs Up: Conservation Efforts Aiding Sea Turtles

Sea turtle nesting season ends Oct. 30. So far, it has been a banner year for these gentle creatures that venture ashore at night on Treasure Coast beaches to lay their eggs. Sea turtles are nesting in record numbers from southern Brevard County to Jupiter Island, according to turtle monitoring groups.
