“The goal is to share my Italian heritage and some of my mamma’s outstanding southern Italian recipes,” says co-owner Frank Talerico, such as the roasted, baked Cornish hen ($24) and Calabria meat sauce with pasta ($18). “I have tried to recreate the authentic feel of a restaurant from my village, complete with a salumeria of imported meats and cheeses. We like to say that you enter Casa Calabria as a friend and leave as part of our family.”
