The following are upcoming events and news items for April relating to the Stuart Heritage Museum, at 161 S.W. Flagler Ave. The museum’s Tuesday, April 11 program at 7 p.m. will feature guest speaker Jonnie Wall Flewelling, whose family has owned the historic Seminole Inn since the 1970s. She will also cover the history of Indiantown. This program is free and open to the public. It will be at the Flagler Place, 201 S.W. Flagler Ave., in Stuart. The newest exhibit is three huge paintings done by Kevin Hutchinson of Florida wilderness scenes. The paintings serve as the backdrop for a new display of vintage camping, fishing and hunting artifacts of Martin County. The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to view the paintings. Admission is free, and donations are welcome.
