It was easy to get drunk on the ineffable otherness of the old Vinos Wine Bar on Las Olas Boulevard — even before the first glass of pinot was poured. Down a nearly hidden alley that revealed a small, twinkly terrace, which led to a soothing room lined with bricks, candles and old wine crates, Vinos was one of the best places to get a drink on Fort Lauderdale’s bustling tourist thoroughfare because it felt worlds away.
