Despite the ongoing beachside construction, Delray Beach will have its annual Fourth of July celebration from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at State Road A1A and Atlantic Avenue. Rockabilly band Slip and the Spinouts, Aaron Carter and indie pop group AJR will perform at the free event. State Road A1A will close at 2 p.m. from Thomas Street on the north past Casuarina Road to Bucida Road on the south end to allow for smoother pedestrian exit after the fireworks. The north side beach entrances remain the same. The south side will have designated fenced entrances.
