Palm Beach County officials are hoping to attract Floridians from the Gulf Coast to visit the area, and there may be savings in it that locals can take advantage of. The Cultural Council of Palm Beach County is launching a $1 million campaign centered on marketing the area’s art. “That’s everything from festivals to full-blown productions at the Kravis Center, to the wealth that we find at the Flagler Museum, the Martin Museum of Art, the Boca Museum of Art. It’s an incredible grouping of the best in the arts,” Director of Marketing Marilyn Bauer said. The campaign targets Naples, Sarasota and Tampa Bay, urging residents of those areas to “Head East for the Arts.”
