Who better to interpret the voices and people of old St. Augustine than a 12th-generation Floridian and a Minorcan?Ann Browning Masters is a descendent of the Spanish settlers who came to Florida during the First Spanish Period and an engaging and much-lauded poet. Masters will share stories and poems from her book “Floridanos, Menorcans, Cattle-Whip Crackers: Poetry of St. Augustine” (Florida Historical Society Press) at a special Ponte Vedra Forum program at 6:30 p.m. May 10 at the Ponte Vedra Library.
