The mother right whale and her calf that made an unusual stop inside the Sebastian Inlet Feb. 8 and 9 were spotted Tuesday south of Daytona Beach.”They are doing well,” said Julie Albert with the Melbourne-based North Atlantic Right Whale Conservation Program.At 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, they were confirmed to be 200 yards off the beach town of Ponce Inlet. “Clipper,” the mother whale, is still suckling her 2-month-old calf and is expected to continue to do so as they return to the North Atlantic, possibly in late March.
