Breast cancer affected his mother, girlfriend and three of his employees. It’s little wonder then that Bill Feinberg, president of Allied Kitchen & Bath, organized a fundraiser for Glam-A-THON that brought in more than $22,000. The nonprofit is dedicated to helping local women battling breast cancer. For his efforts, Feinberg and several others were recently honored with a Glammy award during its Lipstick Lounge event, staged at the Gallery of Amazing Things in Dania Beach. With many breast cancer organizations out there, creating unique fundraisers helps Glam-A-THON stand out, Gail said.“We have created a fun and flirty event series that have a very loyal following. Our Lipstick Lounge event was named one of the top 10 most fashion-fabulous events in South Florida, and The Strut is the most unusual, exciting parade event promoting our attendees’ individuality and strength,” she said.
