On October 8, 2015, Miami Dolphins Linebacker, Koa Misi #55, will kick-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month at his inaugural Pink Tie Bash & VIP Pink Dinner.

The cause is a personal one for Koa – his grandmother is battling breast cancer.  After living cancer free for several years she learned that the cancer progressed spreading to her bones.  It is her fight for survival that has brought Koa on this journey.  The money raised from the events will support programs that advance breast cancer patient care and patient advocacy.

The “Pink Tie Bash” will take place at Caffé Europa on Las Olas and will feature a live DJ, hors d’oeuvres, prepared by Caffe Europa’s talented culinary team, and an opportunity to mix and mingle with dolphin players, cheerleaders and other VIP guests.
