Live music is again filling the air at the iconic bandshell along the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk.The open-air seaside music venue formally known as the Hollywood Beach Theatre reopened Oct. 1 with a modern rock show.Closed most of the year while undergoing renovations, the bandshell is now under management of its new neighbor — the $175 million, 349-room Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort — which assumed responsibility for its upkeep and entertainment programming as part of its lease agreement with the city.”We’re excited to begin providing entertainment again at this Johnson Street staple,” Margaritaville Hollywood’s General Manager Cate Farmer said. “It’s still free of cost and a great place to come and enjoy live entertainment on the Broadwalk.”
