Thanks to the Daytona 500 and MTV Spring Break, which premiered there in 1986, Daytona Beach, FL, is known best for two things: racing and revelry. If Hard Rock International has its way, however, it soon will be known for two more things: music and meetings. That’s because Hard Rock will open its fourth Florida hotel in Daytona Beach later this year, it announced yesterday. The beachfront property will have 200 rooms and 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, as well as a fitness center, a spa with six treatment rooms, a pool and pool deck with private cabanas, and a music amenity program with in-room offerings like record players and Fender guitars.
