Florida has so many golf courses to choose from that it would take a lifetime or two of spring break trips to play maybe half of them.

One place topping the list is Streamsong Resort, which has received a ton of recognition in the national media as one of the hottest newer courses in the country, now in just its third year.

Streamsong has two 18-hole courses that are intertwined at several points; the Blue designed by Michigan resident Tom Doak, and the Red designed by the team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. A third, standalone layout is planned for opening in late 2017, the Black course, to be designed by Gil Hanse, architect of The Olympic Golf Course in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
