Florida’s Amelia Island Offers Quiet Charm, Beach Fun

Imagine a walk along an expansive sandy beach on a warm sunny day. Except for two other people about a mile ahead, out for a walk with their dog, you have the whole place, and the sound of the crashing waves, to yourself. That was me (with a friend in tow for the trip) on a recent fall jaunt to Florida’s Amelia Island.
