FLORIDA TODAY & KBB Join Efforts to Bash Trash

COCOA BEACH – A discarded plastic bag slowly drifted in the light breeze along the dunes near two sunbathers.It wasn’t the only piece of litter on the beach near Minutemen Causeway on a recent morning. Tony Sasso pointed to plastic straws, papers and other items left behind by weekend beachgoers even though there were dozens of trash cans just a few steps away.
