Cannons will roar as men in blue and gray meet in battle this weekend at the Florida Agricultural Museum as the Pellicer Creek Raid Civil War Re-enactment returns for its sixth year.

“We expect four cannons this year, so there should be a lot of big noise,” said Andrew Morrow, the museum’s executive director.

About 250 artillery and cavalry troops will stage a battle at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10 and 11. A parade of colors will be presented at noon outside the Caldwell Dairy Barn each day.
