Just in time for the annual Pink Army 5K Run, Flagler Beach “went pink.”
After raising the Pink Army flag in Veterans Park on Friday night during blustery First Friday festivities, Florida Hospital Flagler Foundation Executive Director John Subers, along with Pink Army volunteer Elaine Gonsalves, headed over to Fuego del Mar to raise the flag.Fuego staff members were decked out in pink for the event — from pink hair to crowns and tutus, the restaurant was ready to show support for the cause.The Fifth Annual Pink Army 5K begins at 7:45 a.m. Oct. 11 at Florida Hospital Flagler, 60 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast.
