Florida will be the first state to have driverless vehicles on U.S. highways, and are expected to be on the roads later this year, NBC News reports.By much surprise, construction trucks will be the first autonomous vehicles on the streets, not cars. A specialty vehicle manufacturer called Royal Truck & Equipment will be developing the new trucks by using special devices, called attenuators that are “designed to protect workers as well as motorists trying to navigate through temporary work zones, according to NBC News.
