ESPN’s Popular X Games Could Come to Fort Lauderdale in 2017

Fort Lauderdale is bidding to be a host city for ESPN’s popular X Games summer events beginning in 2017, which could potentially have a $74 million economic impact, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau announced Thursday.In the annual X Games, hundreds of athletes from around the world take part in action sport competitions that include skateboarding, stunt bicycle and dirt bike riding.
