“Our beautiful beaches are among our most valuable resources and “Creative Cans In the Sand” is determined to keep it that way,” said co-founder Nikki McCoy-Freeman. The “Creative Cans In the Sand” mission is to help encourage beach-goers to dispose of their trash responsibility, and with the hopes that the more noticeable artistically painted cans will result in a cleaner, more litter-free beach. Their trash cans are featured in Cheri Down Park in Cape Canaveral, Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach and Merritt Island Veteran’s Center.
