Couple Indicted in Sea Turtle Egg Smuggling Case

A Hemet couple has been arrested on suspicion of smuggling of 911 sea turtle eggs into the U.S. from Mexico, a U.S.

Department of Justice news release said.Olga and Jose Jimenez, who are married, have been charged in a four-count indictment and each faces a maximum sentence of 50 years in prison and $1 million in fines if convicted of all charges.
