Christmas: Cut Down Your Own Tree for $10 at Florida State Forest

The Florida Forest Service says you will need to bring your own hand saw and gloves to cut down a tree.

Visitors also will need to stop at the park’s McLean Cabin to get a permit and details on size limitations and cutting locations.

This is the fifth year the Florida Forest Service has used the Christmas tree sale to thin out areas of dense sand pine saplings in the park.
