Castronovo’s Chocolate Factory recently added another award for quality of its bean-to-bar chocolates to its crowded trophy case, but this one differs from previous honors. Castronovo’s Dominican Republic 55 percent Dark Milk Chocolate won a 2017 Good Food Award last month in San Francisco. It was one of 11 chocolate makers honored, but the only one from the southeastern United States.
