Broward County now has an official ice cream flavor to celebrate its centennial. Called Broward 100 and created by Renée Quinn, of Deerfield Beach, it’s a combination of chocolate, mocha, caramel, chocolate crackle and coconut topped with rainbow sprinkles.The winner was announced Tuesday morning at Jaxson’s Ice Cream Parlor in Dania Beach, co-sponsor with the county of a Facebook contest to create the flavor.
