The Atlantic Beach sea turtle lighting bill became part of the city’s ordinance code last Monday. The bill remained the same in its final reading, with two changes. The term indirect lighting — which is defined as the glow of any artificial light seen from the beach — has been removed, and the date of compliance for existing business and residence buildings moved up to May 1, 2018.
