Artsy Eatery to Open in Downtown Delray Beach in August

The restaurant group behind Park & Ocean in Fort Lauderdale has announced a new concept slated for downtown Delray Beach. Avant is expected to open in August at a 4,600-square-foot space. The eatery at 25 N.E. Second Ave. will seat about 120 people indoors and 30 people outdoors. South Florida-based Society 8 Hospitality Group is developing Avant with Nxt Big Thing, and will hire about 25 people to staff the restaurant.
