“The Book of Liz” has a demented bent that’s irresistible.A big part of its whacked-out appeal is that it is near impossible to tell exactly where this bizarre comedy staged by the Vanguard in Fort Lauderdale through June 28 is going. That is especially true if you are unfamiliar with the work of offbeat actress, author and comedian Amy Sedaris and her humorist-author brother David, who wrote the show under their playwrighting moniker the Talent Family.
