Two Key West hotels known for their heritage, architecture and famous guests recently were inducted into a national preservation group created to celebrate historic lodging establishments.The Southernmost House, built in 1896 as a private residence for a local judge, and La Concha Hotel, built in 1926 as the island’s first luxury hotel, are two of the newest members of the Historic Hotels of America program, a division of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
